Hey, Soph here! I’m the Founder and Florist at Sove’s Flowers.
I won’t bore you too much with how I got here, but here’s an overview; in the past I’ve done different things like Retail, Equine and Gardening. The Gardening naturally led me to want to ‘play with flowers’ – here we are in our third year!
The most important thing to me is that we always do our best to be able to cater-to and be understanding-of people’s budgets and personal situations, whilst providing a high quality, sought after service. Every person is so unique and we want them to be able to express themselves freely - we’re just here to make visions come to life and offer advice and support throughout the process!
Flower-wise, my favourite style is the wild meadow feel, with an abundance of textures and heights from lots of different flower types, in beautiful soft pastel tones.
Flowers to one side, I am completely animal obsessed - my two Dogs are my world and I currently have a Guinea Pig plus Quail for the yummy cruelty free eggs! I also love running, dancing, films and come from a very musical family!
My goals:
- To keep seeing our business grow and have a larger team around me (I am so grateful for the recent addition of my Sister, Jess)
- To create a Flower Farm in the near future, providing beautiful stems without harm to the planet. Until then, we will keep using as much home-grown as we can!
- To meet more of you lovely people and be ever grateful for the trust you put in us xx
I’m Jess, Soph’s sister. I recently joined Sove’s Flowers full time after helping out in the background over the years, and I can’t wait for what’s to come!
I spent years working in Project Management so I will be continuing to work behind the scenes on all the fun stuff – admin, woo! – but really love getting hands on and helping to create our client’s visions. Bud vases are my favourite thing to get stuck into!
Having travelled for a lot of my 20’s I am excited to settle in the UK and actually look forward to going to work.
